My baby's growin' up!

What a perfect baby. Mama doesn't want him to grow up too fast, but here he is holding his head up by himself. The way he watches his siblings, I think he's getting ideas about getting up and running around with them as soon as he possibly can.

He is not, however, getting very many ideas about sleeping through the night for me.

We love the Arches!

We had a lovely time at the Arches two weeks ago. It was plenty of work, but well worth it. Sam was recovering from a yucky flu bug, but you'd never guess it from these cute pictures. I think I could win a photo contest with this boy. Here we are hiking around Balance Rock. Unfortunately, Becca was just coming down with Sam's flu and wasn't up for smiling at the camera. (She's the one hunched over the rock in the center of this picture :)

The drive home was long, but thankfully there was a portion of the trip that all four children were napping at once. Somewhere along the way our van passed 111,111 miles. We hope this van takes us many more miles than that ... at least a few more Arches trips!
